The short version: Theremin-64 does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. The only network use is the optional CONCERTO mode, where your own devices on the same WiFi sync their beat directly to each other. Nothing is ever sent to any server.
The app reads your device's ambient-light sensor to control musical pitch in real time. This reading is used only momentarily to make sound and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Theremin-64 has an optional CONCERTO feature that lets two or more of your devices on the
same WiFi network or hotspot play in time together. When you turn it on, the app sends small
timing beacons (tempo and beat position) directly between devices on your local network using
the INTERNET, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE and CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE
permissions. These messages contain no personal data, are not sent to any
server or over the public internet, and are used only to keep the beat locked between your own devices. If you
never enable CONCERTO, no network activity happens at all.
Theremin-64 does not use the microphone and does not request the RECORD_AUDIO
permission.
None. Theremin-64 contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no user accounts. It never collects or shares any information about you.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
